Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in our website!

It is our aim to provide credible resources and information on our pages that will be useful in your mental health journey, and to determine if Monarch Therapy + Wellness Centre is the right fit for you, or someone you are seeking support for. By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions outlined to you below. If for any reason you disagree with any part of the terms and conditions below, we ask that you please immediately discontinue using our website.
By accessing, browsing or using our website, you acknowledge and accept that you are using our website at your own risk, and without warranties of any kind. The content, links, and resources bound by this website are for your own personal, non-commercial use. While we aim to share appropriate and credible information, we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, currency, efficacy, suitability or appropriateness of the information contained herein for any particular purpose, whether expressed or implied. This disclaimer also applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access. We assert the right to make changes to the website, terms and conditions, and the information at any time and without any prior notice to site visitors. We are not to be held liable for such changes or changes of accuracy of information provided under these parameters.

On our website, we have various external websites linked to different pages in order to provide you access to other resources and information. While we aim to provide credible and safe links to professional sources, we have no control over the content, safety and/or nature of these sites. The links that we provide on our website do not imply total recommendation for any or all of the content found on these sites. They are for informational purposes solely and do not constitute a therapeutic relationship or advice of any sort.

It is important to note that simply accessing our website, or submitting a request to speak with a member of our team using the contact form, does not initiate or facilitate any form of therapeutic relationship with our team of mental health professionals. In adherence with the policies of Monarch Therapy + Wellness Centre, you are only considered a client once you have met with our clinic director, Dr. Marilisa Morea, and have completed the necessary forms and documentation (e.g. consent forms, contact and billing information etc.) and have an assessment session.

When registering to get into contact with our team, our intake form requires you to enter important, personal information about yourself (e.g. name, phone number, etc.). Although we do have the necessary safeguards in place to protect our website from fraudulent activity, we cannot completely assure you that the information you submit will be completely protected and remain confidential (much like email exchanges). In our best effort to maintain your privacy and protection, we ask that you be mindful of the information detailed on your form, and to save any sensitive and personal details about yourself for when you speak with our clinic director, Dr. Marilisa Morea or another member of the team.

Monarch Therapy + Wellness Centre does not provide any immediate and emergent forms of psychological support services in the event of a crisis. Your health and safety is important to us, so if you, or someone you are seeking support for are in a state of mental health crisis, we urge you to immediately contact emergency support services (call 911, or visit your nearest emergency hospital department).
